    On Call Medical Assistant Opportunity

     

    Contract: 2025–2026 School Year Setting: Afterschool Program Location: Palm Springs, CA Schedule: Monday – Friday Hours: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Wednesdays start at 12:00 PM) Pay: $21/hour

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a dedicated On Call Medical Assistant to support our Afterschool Program in Palm Springs, CA. This role is ideal for a compassionate professional who enjoys working with children and is committed to ensuring a safe, healthy environment for students.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide on-site medical support during program hours

    + Respond to student health needs and emergencies promptly

    + Assist with basic first aid and medication administration as required

    + Maintain accurate health records and documentation

    + Collaborate with program staff to promote student well-being

    Requirements

    + Medical Assistant Certification (Required)

    + Pediatric experience preferred

    + Strong communication and organizational skills

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team
