    Clean Harbors in **North Kingstown, R** I is looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician to join the team! The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repairs at the facility (no travel is required) industrial processing equipment. We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual with an excellent commitment to health & safety. Drivers License is required.

     

    Work Schedule: 2** **nd** **Shift 2:30 pm-11:00 pm Monday- Friday

    + Disassemble/Reassemble facility equipment to examine or repair

    + Performing preventive maintenance such as changing the oil and servicing the coolant.

    + Determine cause of malfunctioning systems and perform repair or replacement of defective component(s)

    + Monitor equipment to ensure all repairs and testing are completed to insure proper operation

    + Other duties as assigned

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Hydraulic system repair experience

    + **Maintenance mechanic experience**

    + Heavy equipment repair experience

    + Ability to work overtime as needed

    + Valid Drivers’ License

    + Ability to use a cutting rig

    + Ability to successfully pass mechanical aptitude testing

    + Proficient with computers and systems

    + Knowledge of the industry’s latest technology or having experience working with electronics

    + Per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.34, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards
