As a **Security Officer - Hospital Response** in **Erie, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will support hospital staff and visitors, while you provide exceptional customer service and respond to situations as needed. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate within a healthcare environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

+ Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual activity, to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to direct individuals as needed.

+ Collaborate with healthcare staff and/or law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies.

+ Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Vaccination is required for this hospital position.

+ Work may involve duties in the hospital morgue.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Must be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital environment.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
