As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding as appropriate to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

+ Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

+ Interact with employees, visitors, and/or the public in a courteous manner, providing assistance and information as needed.

+ Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies and/or requests for assistance in accordance with established procedures.

+ Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and related equipment as required for an armed patrol post.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
