Job Title: Maintenance Lead/Supervisor

Job Description

Join a dynamic team in a state-of-the-art metal manufacturing facility serving the automotive industry. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of plant equipment, including presses, CNC machines, furnaces, and more. This position focuses on electrical troubleshooting and maintenance, working with PLCs and controls at 480v.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on all plant equipment, including presses, CNC machines, furnaces, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fork trucks.

+ Troubleshoot and diagnose in-the-moment issues with plant equipment.

+ Work with automated equipment and find ways to rebuild and provide upgrades.

+ Read and work from blueprints and electrical schematics.

+ Use a laptop to access PLCs for monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

+ Clear path to move from a Supervisor role into a Maintenance Manager role down the line

Essential Skills

+ 5 years of industrial maintenance experience

+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and PLC troubleshooting

+ Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and CNC machines

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic

+ Tech school training

+ Ability to work on various machines and plant equipment

Work Environment

This role operates in a large, 400,000 sq. ft. facility with approximately 700 employees. The work environment can be loud and fairly dirty, with 75-100% of the time spent in the plant. Shifts are 10 hours long.

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
