We’re looking for a skilled Phlebotomist with a passion for patient care and precision. If you have 2+ years of recent phlebotomy experience, excel at pediatric blood draws, and pride yourself on reliability and communication, this is the role for you!
What You’ll Do
+ Perform blood draws and specimen collection with accuracy and care.
+ Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens per test requirements.
+ Match requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure 100% accuracy.
+ Package and store specimens according to temperature and transport guidelines.
+ Explain venipuncture and collection procedures clearly and courteously to patients.
+ Demonstrate expertise with straight needles and butterfly techniques for pediatric patients.
What We’re Looking For
+ Experience: Minimum 1 year performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
+ Skills:
+ Specimen collection and phlebotomy expertise.
+ Proficiency with straight needles and butterfly needles for pediatrics.
+ Strong communication and organizational skills.
+ Tech: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment
This role is based in a busy Patient Service Center (PSC) in Brooklyn, serving 60–70 patients daily, including numerous pediatric cases.
+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, plus every other Saturday (9 AM–5 PM).
+ Flexibility: Must be comfortable staying past 5 PM as needed (occasionally until 6–7 PM).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
