Description

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join a team in Palmyra, New Jersey. This is a contract position ideal for individuals with a strong background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions. The role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise to a dynamic and detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and payment tracking.

• Prepare and execute billing functions in a timely and accurate manner.

• Perform account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Support various accounting functions, including journal entries and financial reporting.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.

• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation as required.

• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.

Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Proficiency in managing billing functions and account reconciliations.

• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in financial operations.
