Position: Behavior Technician
Pay Rate: $21–$25 per hour
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide high-quality educational and behavioral support to children and adults with special needs. In this role, you will implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and collaborate with school professionals, families, and other behavioral specialists to help clients achieve individualized learning and behavioral goals.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Deliver ABA-based interventions in home, school, or community settings.
+ Collect and record accurate data on client progress.
+ Support the development of social, communication, and daily living skills.
+ Collaborate with BCBAs, educators, and caregivers to ensure consistency in treatment plans.
+ Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Education, or related field preferred
+ Two (2) years of pediatric experience strongly preferred.
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable).
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as required).
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
+ Familiarity with ABA principles and data collection.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
