    Description

    Job Summary:

    The laborer performs tasks that require mainly physical abilities and effort involving little or no specialized skill or prior work experience.

    Description:

    + Loads and unloads trucks, and other conveyances

    + Moves supplies and materials to proper location by wheelbarrow or hand truck

    + Stacks materials for storage or binning

    + Collects refuse and salvageable materials

    + Digs, fills, and tamps earth excavations

    + Levels ground using pick, shovel, tamper and rake, shovels concrete

    + Cleans culverts and ditches

    + Moves and arranges heavy pieces of furniture, equipment, and appliances

    + Assists/helps other Craftsmen

    Education, Experience and Certification:

    Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

     

    Required: 3 years of experience working in an outdoor or indoor building environment

     

    Preferred: Microsoft Certification

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Able to understand verbal or written direction from lead, supervisor or other craftsmen.
