    Housekeeper and Alaris Pump Cleaner

     

    Part Time, 16 hours week, 3:00pm - 11:30pm (every other weekend Sat and Sun, fill in Mon and Fri on opposite weeks)

     

    Alaris Pumps

     

    Collects, decontaminates and distributes patient equipment and other materials as directed.

     

    Responsible for documenting when equipment needs to be fixed to ensure that patient care is uninterrupted.

     

    Ensures inventory par levels are maintained.

     

    Establishes and maintains open lines of communication with nursing personnel and patient care areas to identify needs and concerns with equipment.

    Housekeeping Summary:

    + Cleans and service facility building areas, moves furniture, equipment and supplies around the facility. Performs a variety of Environmental Services duties to maintain the facility in an orderly and sanitary condition.

    Responsibilities:

    + Performs all cleaning, floor care and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor.Utilizes cleaning chemicals properly and safely in accordance with department guidelines.Performs related services, such as bed moves, changing mattresses, stocking supplies, etc.Maintains high standardsworks steadily at efficient paceachieves high QA score.Exercises good judgment while working around patients and visitors.Interacts hospitably, cheerfully and supportively with staff, patients, visitors and work colleagues.Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean, orderly and good operating condition. Respects Hospital and Company property.Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc.Accepts suggestions and direction from supervisors and Hospital staff.Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, preservation of equipment and achievement of safe working practices.Takes initiative in rendering service or responding to needs.Assists other associates as necessary.

    Credentials:

    Education or Equivalent Experience:

    + H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)

    + 1+ years One-year environmental or related experience in a Hospital or College environment
