Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
+ Vertiv designs, builds, and services critical infrastructure that enables vital applications for data centers, communication networks and commercial and industrial facilities. RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Maintain an interactive plant quality relationship focused on effective transition of product releases to a manufacturing quality support role
+ Audit product manufacturing processes to Vertiv plant control plans
+ Interface closely with Engineering, Service, Manufacturing, and Product Management to understand and improve product and service quality
+ Investigate and resolve QA projects, as assigned
+ Initiate regular meetings with Manufacturing and Quality personnel to ensure activities are aligned to meet the new product quality plans
+ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Job Qualifications:
+ Intern candidate must be entering either their Junior or Senior year for a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Good communication skills
+ Good analytical and writing skills
+ Good organizational skills
+ Desired Software Skills: Microsoft Office
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
+ Intern candidate must be entering either their Junior or Senior year for a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
+ Completed, at a minimum, the first two years of studies at an accredited university
