    Position: Floater Secretary (10-Month Position)

    Start Date: January 2026

    Hours: 5.75 hours per day, Monday–Friday

     

    Rate of Pay:$19.03/hour

    Required Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    Preferred Skills & Abilities:

    + Experience providing secretarial support, ideally in an educational setting

    + Professional, courteous communication with staff, students, and the public both in person and by phone

    + Ability to work well under pressure, set priorities, and handle confidential matters calmly

    + Strong skills in typing, word processing, and use of general office equipment

    + Ability to work independently without constant supervision

    + Flexibility to travel between school buildings within the district as needed

    + Must be willing to get med certified

    Description:

    As a Floater Secretary, you will fill in for school office staff across the district on a daily basis. Duties will vary by building and assignment. For a full list of responsibilities, please refer to the attached job description.
