    Job Description – Senior Agentic AI Engineer

    A leading mortgage software company and an Elite Pro Consulting Partner with ICE Mortgage Technology, is seeking a Senior Agentic AI Engineer. This role will lead the design, development, and operation of production-grade AI agents that automate complex workflows in the mortgage industry. You will own the full lifecycle of intelligent agent systems, including architecture, retrieval grounding, tool execution, safety controls, observability, and integration into LTK products.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and implement multi-step, tool-using AI agents for operations copilots, document processing, and workflow automation.

    • Build RAG pipelines, vector search, grounding layers, and evaluation loops to reduce hallucinations.

    • Develop backend APIs (Python, FastAPI), implement security (JWT, OAuth2, RBAC), and ensure safe agent execution.

    • Deliver full-stack features (React, Next.js) for dashboards and monitoring tools.

    • Deploy containerized services on AWS (ECS Fargate, ECR, ALB, S3, CloudWatch) and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

    • Mentor engineers, lead technical design sessions, and drive architectural decisions.

    Skills and Requirements

    Must Haves

    • Agentic AI Systems: Experience building production-grade agentic systems (not just single-call LLM integrations).

    • AI & Backend Tech:

     

    o Python 3.10+, FastAPI, PostgreSQL (pgvector), SQLAlchemy.

     

    o LangChain/LangGraph or similar frameworks.

     

    o Familiarity with major LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, xAI, Cohere).

     

    • Frontend: React, Next.js, MUI, Redux, Jest.

    • Cloud & DevOps:

     

    o AWS (ECS, ECR, ALB, CloudWatch, S3, SES, Textract, Cognito).

     

    o Docker, Redis, GitHub Actions CI/CD.

     

    • General:

     

    o 5+ years professional engineering experience.

     

    o Strong debugging skills across backend, frontend, and infrastructure.

     

    o Experience mentoring engineers and driving architecture. Nice to Haves

     

    • Experience in regulated or data-sensitive industries (finance, healthcare, insurance).

    • Background in LLM evaluation frameworks, A/B testing, or agent observability tooling.

    • Event-driven architectures, workflow engines, or background worker systems.

    • Building shared platforms or reusable agent frameworks.
