• Field Soils Technician

    Essel (Santa Ana, CA)


    Responsibilities include:

    + Provide grading observations.

    + Provide compaction testing on soils, aggregates and asphalt.

    + Provide special inspections per additional inspection certifications in accordance with approved project documents.

    + Document project grading activities.

    + Provide sampling and Quality Control of concrete and/or grout.

    Requirements

    Required Competencies:

    + Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers, clients, consultants, contractors and potential clients.

    + Nuclear gauge usage certification.

    + ACI Field Technician Grade 1 license.

    + ICC Soils Inspector License is a plus.

    + ICC Reinforced Concrete is a plus.

    + Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    + Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
