+ $12,000 for candidates with less than 1 year of experience

+ $20,000 for candidates with 1+ years of experience

_Two-year work commitment required_

What You'll Do:

+ Provide expert respiratory therapy and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions under physician direction.

+ Perform pulmonary function tests, interpret clinical data, and collaborate with physicians to optimize patient outcomes.

+ Operate and maintain advanced respiratory equipment, ensuring safe and effective treatment.

+ Respond to emergency situations and assist with transporting ventilated patients.

+ Mentor students and demonstrate respiratory care procedures to trainees and healthcare staff.

Qualifications

+ Education: Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care Program (Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care)

+ Licensure: Active Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

+ Certification:

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (must meet AHA standards, including didactic and skills demonstration, within 30 days of hire)

+ Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)

+ Respiratory therapists who earned their RRT credential after July 1, 2002 must maintain certification per NBRC requirements

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

+ Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license

+ Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential

+ Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance (with renewal)

+ Act 34 Criminal Clearance (with renewal)

+ Act 73 FBI Clearance (with renewal)
