This dual-role position, based at the Nexcelle and MRAS HQ in Baltimore, USA, supports contract management for the Nexcelle Joint Venture (Safran Nacelles and MRAS/ST Engineering Group) and provides sales support to Safran Nacelles. The Contract Manager is responsible for managing contracts with Nexcelle customers, coordinating with parent companies, and communicating contract-related matters. Additionally, the role supports sales activities for Safran Nacelles, including customer interactions, proposal preparation, and negotiations.
Contract Management (Nexcelle JV):
• Manage contracts with customers, including the drafting, negotiation, and implementation of contractual agreements, ensuring parent company approval on all commitments.
• Oversee fulfillment of contractual requirements by parent companies and monitor Nexcelle's compliance with obligations through regular reviews.
• Amend or create contractual terms between Nexcelle and its parent companies as required and ensure alignment with the Partnership Agreement.
• Collaborate with parent company legal and program teams to resolve contract issues and provide status updates to Nexcelle senior leadership.
• Handle purchase orders and invoice administration, ensuring proper documentation, communication, and coordination for payment processes.
• Organize and act as Secretary to the Board of Directors, including agenda preparation, meticulous documentation, and compliance with legal requirements.
• Attend Advisory Committee meetings, maintaining records and ensuring partnership rules are followed.
• Maintain and update comprehensive documentation files for Nexcelle.
• Develop and execute compliance programs consistent with parent company policies and oversee compliance under the direction of the Board of Directors.
• Serve as the Nexcelle Risks Manager, conducting annual risk assessments and reviewing risk management statements with the Nexcelle president.
Sales Support (Safran Nacelles):
• Provide support to the Safran Nacelles Sales Director to develop new sales opportunities and win new contracts, particularly in America.
• Coordinate responses to customer commercial and contractual requests, including change requests, RFIs and RFQs, by liaising with internal teams (technical, industrial, finance, legal, etc.) and steering negotiations to closure.
• Support ongoing program management post-signature

Skills & Qualifications:
• BS Degree; Engineering preferred.
• Strong contract management and negotiation skills.
• Solid understanding of the aerospace business sector.
• Effective presenter (to both customers and internal stakeholders).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Extensive experience in aerospace, with proven ability to manage complex contracts.
