Job Title: Structural Engineering Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineering Project Manager to lead and manage structural design projects from concept through completion. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management capabilities to deliver high-quality solutions for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage structural engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

+ Oversee design and analysis of structural systems for buildings, precast concrete components, and other structures.

+ Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.

+ Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.

+ Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and resolve issues.

+ Maintain compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).

+ Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

+ 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 2 years in project management.

+ Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000, Revit, AutoCAD).

+ Strong understanding of building codes and industry standards.

+ Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

+ Experience with precast concrete design and manufacturing processes.

+ Familiarity with construction methods and materials.

+ Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
