Job Description
The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing specialty medications throughout the United States. This role involves supporting the Order Entry Department by assisting with prescription verification, patient counseling, and other pharmacist tasks. The position offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience with dispensing specialty medications, as well as working collaboratively across multiple sites and departments to ensure orders are processed and shipped efficiently to patients.
Responsibilities
+ Dispense specialty medications throughout the United States.
+ Support the Order Entry Department with prescription verification.
+ Provide patient counseling and additional pharmacist-related tasks.
+ Collaborate with multiple sites and departments to process and ship orders.
+ Participate in training and onboarding for new system upgrades.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
+ PharmD.
+ Current state’s Pharmacist license.
+ 3+ years of experience in mail order, retail, or hospital pharmacy.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Specialty pharmacy experience.
+ Multi-state pharmacist license.
Work Environment
This is a remote, work-from-home position. Pharmacists will gain experience with dispensing specialty medications while interacting with the team via TEAMS chat or phone calls. The role requires availability for shifts between 8 AM and 9 PM EST, with typical workdays lasting 8 hours, ranging from 1-2 days per week up to 40 hours. Flexibility to work onsite may be needed to meet state-specific requirements during the training and transitioning period.

This is a Contract position based out of Chesterfield, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
