Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Mechanical Assembly Technician where you will be instrumental in assembling and moving partially finished or finished products. You will utilize a variety of hand tools and equipment to ensure quality and precision in your work.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble and move partially finished or finished products.

+ Deburr parts using supplied tools and equipment.

+ Use hand tools to create required parts such as springs and pins.

+ Split tangent rings into three segments.

+ Check a sample of parts for light tightness.

+ Use calipers to check clearance for proper end gap.

+ Prepare parts for the next manufacturing operation, ensuring proper light tightness and joints.

+ Transport parts to the next manufacturing operation.

+ Roll and flare piston rings.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in assembly and production processes.

+ Experience with hand tools and mechanical assembly.

+ Ability to inspect parts and verify production orders.

+ Basic computer operation skills.

+ Understanding of mechanical and assembly line processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.

This is a Contract position based out of JEFFERSONVILLE, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
