    Supervisor: Coordinator of Family Support Center

     

    Civil Service Title: N/A

    Minimum Requirements:

    Masters level counselor, psychologist, or social worker;

     

    Must have experience working with diverse populations.

    Desired Qualifications:

    Knowledge of Brief, Solution Focused Counseling Theory (additional training will be provided);

     

    Applicants must be willing to participate in case consultation conferences with the coordinator;

     

    Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills;

     

    Knowledge of school systems.

    Position Summary/Responsibilities:

    Mental Health Team Members providing service at the Family Support Center are responsible for the following:

    Providing brief, solution focused counseling services to families in a team setting;

     

    Maintaining accurate records of all contacts with clients;

     

    Referring to outside agencies when appropriate;

     

    Providing services during the evening hours (minimum of four hours per week);

     

    All other duties as assigned.
