Description We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team in West Des Moines, Iowa. This long-term contract position requires someone with strong attention to detail who is capable of driving complex projects while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in Agile methodologies and possess strong leadership skills to guide teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Align project priorities with organizational strategies and objectives to ensure successful outcomes.

• Identify and manage project interdependencies to maintain smooth execution and synchronization across teams.

• Proactively address risks and resolve issues through effective problem-solving techniques.

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including timelines and key milestones.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to set clear expectations and escalate concerns when necessary.

• Lead project launches by defining scope, objectives, solution approaches, work sizing, and timeline estimation.

• Oversee projects within Agile frameworks, coordinating multiple teams to deliver results efficiently.

• Manage data-related projects such as data ingestion, data warehouse development, and reporting initiatives.

• Ensure consistent use of project management tools like Jira and adhere to established processes.

• Provide guidance and expertise in derivatives trading and finance-related domains when applicable. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools, including Atlassian Jira.

• PMP certification is required.

• Strong understanding of project management principles, including scope definition and timeline management.

• Experience in managing data-focused projects, including data warehouses and reporting systems.

• Knowledge of derivatives trading and financial services is preferred.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, ensuring clear communication and appropriate escalation.
