As an Aviation Ground Support Equipment Mechanic, you are responsible for maintaining allground support equipment (GSE) in a serviceable condition and collaborate with the warehousegovernment representative to ensure items are maintained in accordance with applicable Logistics Support Systems.

Responsibilities

+ Full knowledge of fuel systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems. Mechanical systems,and of gas and diesel internal combustion engines.

+ Thorough knowledge of GSE, aircraft and ground safety procedures, applicable maintenance/ technical manuals, basic tools, special tools, and test equipment.

Qualifications

+ Ability to meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements.

+ Ability to read, write, and interpret instructions, technical manuals and/or directives in English and to follow and administer verbal and written instruction.

+ Ability to perform the scope of physical movements and postures normally associated with hangar/flight line activities.

+ Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

+ Must be a US citizen.

+ Must have a valid state driver's license.

+ Must have an active clearance or the ability to obtain one (preference will be given to those with a clearance).
