    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Data Governance Project/Program Manager to join the team of a local medical device client. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of the organization’s Data Governance program, ensuring alignment across key stakeholders. You will oversee the creation of a comprehensive roadmap and coordinate Data Classification initiatives using Microsoft Azure’s out-of-the-box tools. This position requires close collaboration with Security teams, who manage Azure Classification, Legal teams, and the organization’s Data Governance Lead. You will be responsible for driving integration between Data Governance, Security, and Data Privacy/Legal teams to implement Data Classifications across the enterprise. Additionally, change management will be a critical component of this role to ensure successful adoption of governance practices. This is a hybrid opportunity requiring onsite work four days per week in Golden Valley, MN.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Experience: 5+ years of project management or related experience.

    • Bachelors degree.

    • Experience building a Data Governance Program from scratch.

    • Change management experience.

    • Ability to partner effectively across Security, Legal, and Data teams.

    • Methodology Knowledge: Use of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). • Experience working with Smartsheets or other project management tools.

    • ADO (Azure DevOps) experience.

    • PMP certification.

    • Experience working within Purview, MDM, or other Data Management tools.
