Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a HR SPEC (MILITARY), Position Description Number D2402000 and is part of the KS 184 Intelligence Wing, National Guard. Responsibilities As a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST, GS-0201-09, you will serve on the Group Commander's Support Staff (CSS). The incumbent will administer and direct the Group Commander's Support Staff functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Additionally, trains in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: E-1 through E7 Desired Compatible Military Assignments: 3F071 or 3F571 Must be willing and able to cross train into the compatible AFSC GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade: Skilled in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately Ability to clearly enunciate English without impediment of speech that would interfere or prohibit efficient communication Ability to write English in reports and presentation formats Ability to communicate clearly and effectively Skilled in presenting formal training presentations and briefings Ability to assess body language and perceive emotional and/or distress levels Skilled in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-07 level or equivalent, to include: a basic working knowledge of National Guard missions, organizations, and personnel programs; basic knowledge and experiences of personnel programs gained in a classroom or as an on-the-job trainee; knowledge-based competency of human resources business elements and can discuss terminology, concepts, principles, and issues related to this competency; experienced in using references and resource materials and experienced in program functions such as, maintaining personnel records, counseling, or classification and assignments; experiences may include performing personnel functions associated with preparing and maintaining position descriptions and manual records, personnel classification or usage, quality force management, managing personnel records and researching record data; and experienced in operating a computer and using varied computer programs. Education If you are using Education to qualify for this position, specialized experience may be substituted with the following education: master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
