    DESCRIPTION

    We are looking for a talented **Service Manager** to join our team in **Service** in **Downey, CA.**

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

    + Coaches and develops technicians through the advancement process

    + Coaches and develops technicians with complex service interventions and diagnostic issues

    + Coaches and develops Service Supervisors/Advisors to successfully navigate the repair process

    + Manages shop tools/equipment for proper operation

    + Safety Committee Member

    + Responsible for LOTO adherence and recertification

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    + Knowledge of Diesel and Nat Gas engines

    + Experience managing in a shop service environment

    + Experience ‘scheduling and managing’ service personnel

    + Knowledge of Cummins Warranty/Policy processes

    + Experience with estimating/quoting repairs

    + Highly computer literate (MS Office, Outlook)

    + Knowledge of Cummins QSOL and Insite programs

    + Customer Service experience

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education, Licenses, Certifications:

    + College, university, or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline or relevant experience equivalent required.

    + This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

    Experience:

    + Significant level of relevant technical experience, including supervisory experience, required.
