As a key player in Amazon's Global Fleet Electrification team, you'll be instrumental in managing critical material transactions that keep our zero-emission vehicle infrastructure moving forward. Your work will directly contribute to reducing carbon emissions and transforming how goods are delivered globally.

     

    Key job responsibilities

     

    - Execute comprehensive material transactions for electrical equipment, including purchase requisitions, order creation, receiving, and invoice reconciliation

     

    - Partner with material managers to validate demand signals and align with supply strategies

     

    - Monitor order statuses and proactively resolve discrepancies in pricing, quantity, and delivery timelines

     

    - Maintain precise procurement system records to ensure data integrity and compliance

    - Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize ordering and invoicing processes

    Your day will be dynamic and impactful, focusing on tracking and managing electrical equipment orders from start to finish. You'll collaborate with multiple teams, ensuring smooth material procurement processes that support our ambitious electric vehicle deployment strategy. Expect to engage in problem-solving, data management, and cross-functional communication that keeps our electrification initiatives running seamlessly.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 2+ years of professional or military experience

     

    - 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience

     

    - High school or equivalent

     

    - Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

     

    - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

     

    - 1+ years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain related work in a procurement organization experience

     

    - Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

     

    - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with procurement or ERP systems (e.g., Coupa, Oracle, SAP).

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Experience with end-to-end project management

     

    - Experience supporting infrastructure, manufacturing, or construction projects.

     

    - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on process accuracy and efficiency.

     

    - Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $43,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $79,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
