Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to hire a **Pharmacy Technician** for an onsite role in Plano, TX! This is an exciting opportunity for certified pharmacy professionals looking to grow their skills and gain cross-training in all areas.
**Pay Rate** : $19.00 – $21.00/hr. (based on experience, education, and location)
**Schedule:** Monday–Thursday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:30 AM–4:00 PM

Role Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician assists with the fulfillment of patient orders to ensure timely delivery of medications. Under the direction of the Director of Operations and Team Lead, you’ll support medication dispensing, inventory management, patient safety, and compliance with treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Coordinate delivery of medications and manage patient orders through verification
• Access, input, and retrieve information through pharmacy systems
• Utilize pharmacy automation to streamline workflow and optimize medication dispensing
• Maintain inventory, conduct audits, and liaise with suppliers
• Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accurate and timely preparation and distribution of medications
• Promote teamwork, professional communication, and adherence to procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certified Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee license from the Texas State Board (must obtain valid license within 1 year if trainee)
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, lift, push/pull up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to read and transcribe pharmaceutical information
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
