    We are seeking a dedicated **Intake Nurse (LPN)** to join a fast-paced, supportive, and tight-knit clinical team in Elkhart, IN. In this role, you will conduct screenings, physicals, and assessments for potential donors, ensuring they meet all eligibility requirements.     Hours of Operation

    + Open **7 days a week**

    + **5x8 shifts**

    + **Weekend work required**

    + Weekend rotation structure:

    + One weekend fully off

    + One weekend working **Saturday & Sunday**

    + One weekend working **Saturday OR Sunday**

    + One additional weekend working **Saturday & Sunday**

    + Rotation through **open, mid, and close** shifts

    Position Overview

    Nurses in this role are responsible for completing donor screening and eligibility assessments. This position is known for being fast-paced but less physically demanding than acute care nursing. **Primary Responsibilities Include:**

     

    + Conducting physical assessments

    + Completing donor eligibility screenings

    + Obtaining height, weight, and vital signs

    + Performing finger-stick tests for hematocrit and protein

    + Performing basic clinical assessment tasks

    + Collaborating with a close team of 5–8 nurses

    + No heavy lifting

    + No venipuncture required (cross-training opportunities available)

    + No complex medication dosage calculationsThis is an excellent role for nurses who value clinical consistency, teamwork, and opportunities for continued learning.

    Compensation & Benefits

    LPN Pay Rate:** **$29.50/hr** **Sign-On Bonus:

     

    + **$2,500** with a **2-year commitment**

    + Repayment clause: 100% if leaving within first year, 50% after one year

    + Bonus paid out within 30 days **Benefits Begin Day 1:**
