MacLellan Integrated Services is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization offering a range of services including Critical Process Cleaning, Building & Process Equipment Maintenance, HVAC & Mechanical, Production Support, and Wastewater Management to a broad range of business partners across North America.
About You:
As part of the MacLellan team, you are part of Best People . You will work with other maintenance and production support personnel utilizing our Best Systems , to complete project work that supports our scopes of work in both our Facilities Maintenance and Production Support contracts. Typical Facilities Maintenance work includes fabrication, installation, welding, grinding, painting, using hand tools and power tools; while typical Production Support work includes monitoring and operating chemical process equipment in a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound manner. You will follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and quality control measures to ensure consistent production outcomes. Whether you are a Facilities Maintenance Professional or a Production Support Professional, you are passionately committed to being the best, you seek opportunities to learn and grow your skillset. Below are the skills and experience requirements for both our Facilities Maintenance positions and our Production Support Maintenance / Chemical Operator Positions.
Facilities Maintenance Technician Necessary Skills:
+ Respond promptly to building alarms and maintenance calls, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
+ Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electric motors, circuits, and associated electrical systems.
+ Diagnose and repair plumbing systems, including identifying and fixing leaks.
+ Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair dock doors and levelers to ensure optimal functionality.
+ Operate, monitor, and maintain utility systems to ensure efficiency and reliability.
+ Perform routine and emergency maintenance on mechanical components, equipment, and systems.
+ Follow manufacturer's specifications and safety policies to ensure repairs and maintenance are performed to the highest standards.
+ Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols during maintenance activities.
Facilities Maintenance Technician Necessary Experience:
+ Basic understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics, including awareness of potential hazards.
+ Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, basic metalworking tools, and understanding the difference between metric and standard threads.
+ Experience performing work safely in both indoor and outdoor environments.
+ Knowledge of industrial-grade oils, grease, and lubricants, including the differences between sealed and non-sealed bearings.
+ Understanding of basic troubleshooting techniques and electrical theory.
+ Experience and willingness to work weekends as required.
+ Ability to safely lift items up to 70 lbs.
+ Experience working in hot and damp environments, including wearing PPE and performing physical tasks such as climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and standing/walking for extended periods.
Production Support Maintenance Technician / Chemical Operator Necessary Skills:
+ Monitor, control, and adjust chemical processes through instrumentation and control systems.
+ Operate chemical process equipment such as mixers, pumps, valves, and filtration systems.
+ Follow strict safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and hazard communication protocols.
+ Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to ensure operational reliability.
+ Identify process deviations or abnormalities and initiate corrective actions promptly.
+ Perform loading unloading of tanker truck chemical materials, ensuring proper handling and transfer.
+ Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
+ Conduct preventative maintenance of equipment and systems to ensure operational reliability.
Production Support Maintenance Technician / Chemical Operator Necessary Experience:
+ Basic understanding of chemical reactions, process flow, and safety data sheets (SDS).
+ Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, or chemical plant settings preferred.
+ 49 CFR training preferred.
+ Proficient in reading and interpreting gauges, meters, and control panels.
+ Ability to follow written procedures and production instructions accurately.
+ Comfortable working in hot, noisy, or confined spaces, and standing or walking for long periods.
+ Comfortable wearing chemical resistant suits and air supplied hoods for long periods.
+ Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
+ Willingness to work Pitman 2-3-2 schedule, weekends, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
+ Ability to safely lift items up to 70 lbs.
+ Experience with computerized maintenance management systems.

Pre-Employment Drug Testing Notification and Policy:
+ After a conditional offer of employment, all job applicants at MacLellan Integrated Services will undergo testing for the presence of illegal drugs.
+ Applicants will be required to submit voluntarily to a urine specimen test at a laboratory chosen by the Company. Any applicant who refuses to submit to a drug test or is suspected by the lab to have tampered with the specimen will not be considered for employment.
+ Prior to testing, an applicant will be given the opportunity to list all prescription drugs used and their purpose. All legal drugs found in a drug test result will be verified by a Medical Review Officer (MRO), who will verify that prescriptions are valid and being used at the prescribed amounts and that said amounts are reflected appropriately in the urine.
