Job Title: Manual Pack Operator

Job Description

As a Manual Pack Operator, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and packaging process, focusing on final packaging operations. Your primary responsibility will be to manually assemble boxes, pack final brick bags, and include instructions and other necessary items into packaging before shipment. This position requires standing for extended periods during 12-hour shifts in an assembly line format, working closely with others to ensure efficient packaging operations.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble and package final products including brick bags and instructions.

+ Maintain and ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.

+ Operate within the production line and perform all related tasks.

+ Report production performance and ensure timely completion of tasks.

+ Ensure compliance with quality standards and report any issues or failures.

+ Contribute to maintaining a constant flow in the production line, minimizing unplanned downtimes.

+ Achieve standard hourly production results.

+ Conduct line operation reporting, including TPM, 5S, QAs, and Line Release Audits.

+ Support changeovers, quality inspections, and machine cleaning.

+ Foster excellent communication with peers, adhering to company values.

Essential Skills

+ 1-2 years of experience in production or manufacturing.

+ Proficiency in packaging, production equipment, and quality inspection.

+ Experience with assembly lines and repetitive tasks.

+ Ability to stand for 8-12 hour shifts.

+ Strong quality control, quality assurance, and inventory skills.

+ Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and efficiently load full boxes onto pallets.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colonial Heights, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.15 - $19.15/hr.
