Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Shift: 1st - 6AM-2:30PM - Monday-Friday

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on machinery and facilities at a food production plant. Your primary duties will include maintaining electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, troubleshooting equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring the plant operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

+ Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

+ Repair faulty equipment and machinery, including conveyors, and perform welding and fabrication as needed.

+ Diagnose and resolve issues with machinery and plant equipment.

+ Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential problems and ensure functionality.

+ Adhere to safety protocols and environmental policies, especially those related to food safety.

+ Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting, mechanical, repair, and electrical tasks.

+ Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manuals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, and electrical systems.

The work environment can vary from cold to hot, depending on the location within the building. The area may be wet with food on the ground due to sanitation processes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Covington, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
