    Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description

     

    Join our team as an Assembler, where you will play a vital role in supporting our production process. This position involves assisting assemblers, preparing materials, and ensuring the smooth operation of production lines. You will handle logistics tasks such as loading and unloading materials, moving products between storage and production areas, and packing finished goods. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is essential, as is the ability to clean and lubricate equipment when necessary. Candidates should be comfortable moving or lifting heavy objects in accordance with safety guidelines.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist assemblers in the production process.

    + Prepare materials for production.

    + Monitor production lines for efficiency.

    + Handle materials and logistics tasks.

    + Load and unload incoming materials and outgoing products.

    + Move materials and finished products between storage and production areas.

    + Pack finished products for shipment.

    + Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

    + Clean and lubricate equipment as needed.

    + Move or lift heavy objects following safety guidelines.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, assembly, and general labor.

    + Familiarity with hand tools.

    + Some type of industrial experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

    + Friendly and coachable demeanor.

    + ESL proficiency is acceptable.

    Work Environment

    Our facility provides a clean, bright, and well-lit shop environment. We offer flexible scheduling with shifts including 1st (7:00am-3:30pm), 2nd (3:00pm-11:30pm), and Sunday 3rd (11:00pm-7:30am). Occasional Saturday overtime is available on a voluntary basis.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington, CT.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.85 - $17.85/hr.
