Job Title: Logistics Analyst 1Job Description

The logistics planning analyst plays a crucial role in coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to the production schedule. This role involves reviewing and distributing production work and shipment schedules while compiling reports on inventory levels and costs.

Responsibilities

+ Examine documents, materials, and products to monitor work processes and assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards.

+ Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements and material priorities.

+ Record production data including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.

+ Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.

Essential Skills

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

+ Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing labor and materials.

+ Proficiency in accurately documenting and recording customer/client information.

+ Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.

+ Previous experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED required.

+ 0-2 years of related experience in supply chain or customer service.

Work Environment

The role requires familiarity with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel. The candidate should be comfortable working within a team environment, collaborating across various departments to meet production demands.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of East Peoria, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
