We are seeking for an experienced Concrete **Foremen.** **Local Candidates Preferred. No Per Diem Available.**

As a Concrete Foreman for our Civil District, you will contribute to our team by:

+ General Carpentry

+ Wall form building and setting (both gang and stick built)

+ Flatwork (SOG and Foundations)

+ Placing Concrete (footings, walls, decks, SOG etc.)

+ Capable of using man lift, scissor lift, etc.

+ Working from heights

+ Preferred versatility - experience with finishing concrete + patching

+ Preferred ability to operate forklift (cert)

What you will bring to the role:

+ Responsible for coordinating and supervising a team of crew members

+ Safety certifications (OSHA) a plus.

+ Concrete Foreman should have 3+ years of experience in concrete placement, use of power trowels, power vibrators, all associated hand tools and hardening and sealing compounds.

+ Good Attendance record with references from previous employer(s).

+ Strength to perform average lifting of up to 35 pounds and occasionally to 50 pounds, from the ground to waist level.

+ Arm, hand, and finger dexterity with both hands involved in activities such as reaching, handling, and feeling--and with good eyesight.

+ Should be able to navigate through the work-site on a daily basis.

+ Occasionally climbs up and down ladders, scaffolding and stairs.

+ May work around chemicals, near grinding and torching and/or near cranes.

+ May work in close contact with other people.

+ Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, high places, and in excavated areas

+ Experience in leadership role – leading others

+ Able to identify quality deficiencies and safety concerns

+ Read and understand various drawings
