Job Responsibilities
+ Team Leadership & Management: Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas
+ Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales campaigns, strategies, and programs to maximize revenue and meet dealership objectives
+ Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to forecast sales, identify opportunities, and provide regular reports to management
+ Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, handle complaints, and ensure high standards for customer service
+ Inventory Management: Review and manage vehicle inventory to ensure an optimal mix of models, colors, and equipment for maximum turnover and profitability
+ Financial Oversight: Analyze and control sales department expenditures, manage commission records, and contribute to the dealership's overall profitability
+ Marketing & Advertising: Collaborate with other managers on marketing efforts and advertising campaigns to promote dealership offerings and attract new customers
+ Interdepartmental Coordination: Serve as a liaison between the sales department and other departments, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with dealership vision
Qualifications
+ Valid driver's license with fewer than 6 points and no major violations.
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Previous experience in the automotive industry
+ Minimum of 5 years experience in sales management
+ Proven and past success in a leadership role
+ Proven track record of meeting sales targets
+ Proficiency in financial management and budgeting
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills
+ Ability to analyze and interpret performance data and market trends
