As a **Security Officer - Utilities Perimeter Patrol** in **Pomona, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol utility locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with individuals on-site, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.

+ Monitor access points and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns according to established protocols.

+ Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and directions as needed, promoting a welcoming environment at the location.

+ Document observations and incidents in daily activity reports, ensuring accurate and timely communication with Allied Universal management and/or client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
