As a **Security Officer - Building Foot Patrol** in **Orange, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. You will engage with tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees with inquiries and directions within the location.

+ Maintain awareness of the environment and communicate any security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.

+ Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ It is preferred that candidates are at least 21 years of age.

+ It is preferred that candidates are able to lift up to 20 pounds.

+ It is preferred that candidates are able to lift more than 20 pounds.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
