    Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description

     

    This position is for a Maintenance Technician in a production machine shop and metal manufacturing environment. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair, maintaining the building, and managing any special projects within the manufacturing domain. Technicians will start with smaller projects to become familiar with the facility’s equipment and gradually take on more complex tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.

    + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.

    + Maintain and operate equipment in the engine room.

    + Work with hydraulics, PLCs, ammonia units, MIG and TIG welding, compressors, receivers, vessels, coolers, HVAC units, conveyor belts, RTUs, AUS, and RMAU units.

    + Conduct maintenance on CNC machines.

    + Participate in special projects within the manufacturing facility.

    Essential Skills

    + 5 or more years of experience in an industrial maintenance position.

    + Ability to troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical systems.

    + Experience with robots, compressors, receivers, and HVAC units.

    + Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, welding, electrical troubleshooting, and maintenance repair.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school graduate or trade school is preferred.

    + Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, schematic, blueprint reading, and PLC control.

    + Experience with 3-phase electrical systems, conveyor systems, motors, and installation.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
