Job Title: 2pm Put Away** **Job Description

The role involves efficiently managing stock orders, interpreting warehouse documents, and ensuring accurate distribution of merchandise. You will be responsible for relocating merchandise, verifying documentation, and organizing products according to predetermined sequences. Under direct supervision, you will receive, store, and distribute materials within established guidelines, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

+ Generate manifest to dispatch and confirm customer and/or stock orders.

+ Interpret warehouse documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

+ Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate merchandise from receiving or production areas to designated areas.

+ Verify merchandise documentation and record incoming merchandise by part and quantity.

+ Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to pre-determined sequence.

+ Prepare products for distribution within facilities.

+ Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on palettes, shelves, or conveyors to send to packing station or shipping department.

+ Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.

+ Create and enter records for the manifest on warehouse computer system.

Essential Skills

+ Fluent in English with the ability to read, write, and speak effectively.

+ Basic warehouse operations including material handling, picking, packing, and shipping.

+ Familiarity with RF scanners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 0-6 months of warehouse experience is preferred.

+ No certification required initially, with potential certification on CROWN trucks upon permanent hire.

Work Environment

This role is set in a fast-paced warehouse environment with narrow aisles navigated by forklifts and hand carts. Safety is prioritized, with no cellphones or electronics permitted in the warehouse. The environment is non-climate controlled, and closed-toe shoes are required at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
