    Job Title: Process Technician

    Job Description

    As a Process Technician, you will oversee injection mold machines and handle the complete process from start-up to inspection. Your role includes managing process troubleshooting, adjustments, first part inspections, and assisting with mold changes. You will monitor operations process flow and ensure the quality of production parts related to compound injection molding, while troubleshooting any equipment issues.

    Responsibilities

    + Machine and tooling setup to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and process change parameters.

    + Start-up, processing, and shutdown of compound injection molding equipment and lines.

    + Conduct tool changes and troubleshoot maintenance tasks on compound injection molding lines.

    + Oversee the chemical room operations, including monitoring and troubleshooting the Caloritronic Gravimetric blending system.

    + Order supplies from the off-site warehouse and manage chemical box changes.

    + Daily cleaning of equipment in the chemical room.

    + Troubleshoot issues with vacuum pumps, filter systems, mixing equipment, and hoppers in the chemical room.

    + Operate, program, and troubleshoot three robots.

    + Troubleshoot issues with PUR (ABB) robots, mixing stations, and fixtures.

    + Build and repair PUR mixing head and valves.

    + Program the PUR robot to touch up out-of-tolerance points.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 3+ years of recent experience in injection mold processing.

    + Proficiency in mold changes.

    + Ability to conduct process start-ups.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with injection molding, plastics, processing, and troubleshooting.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
