Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining all process and production equipment, as well as general building maintenance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of plant processes and systems.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot and maintain all process and production equipment.

+ Repair and maintain plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

+ Design, implement, and manage preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment.

+ Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and management requirements.

+ Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock levels, placing orders, and verifying receipts.

+ Collaborate directly with engineers, machinists, assemblers, and machine operators.

+ Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Excellent mechanical aptitude.

+ Familiarity with electrical aspects and troubleshooting electronics.

+ Ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions.

+ Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.

+ Ability to read and interpret instructional electrical, hydraulic, and process systems drawings.

+ Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

+ Good troubleshooting skills and a strong work ethic.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prior experience in manufacturing maintenance and plastics manufacturing is a strong plus.

+ Knowledge of PLC systems and control systems is a plus.

+ Self-starter with a willingness to perform other related duties as required.

+ Ability to work overtime as required.

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ Certificate in relevant expertise areas such as electrical, mechanical, and/or other areas is a plus.

Work Environment

The position is based in a clean environment that is not climate-controlled, with a 2nd shift opening from 3pm to 11pm, Sunday through Thursday.

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.
