Role Overview

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient cardiology practice. This role involves direct patient care, diagnostic test interpretation, and ongoing collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest standard of cardiac care. Approximately 50% of this role will support our Women’s Heart Wellness Program.

The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend coverage, including holiday rotations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and support physicians in diagnosis and treatment planning

• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic tests and results

• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and continuity-of-care needs

• Provide patient education and assist with individualized care plans

• Participate in inpatient rounding during weekend coverage

Qualifications

• Experience in cardiology or electrophysiology preferred

• Strong proficiency in 12-lead EKG; Nuclear Stress Testing experience is a plus

• Ability to work occasional Saturdays

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in an NP or PA program preferred

• Current NYS PA or NP license and board certification

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Salary Range

USD $69.55 - USD $93.00 /Hr.
