    Special Education Teacher (Contract) – Elementary School

     

    Contract Duration: Until the end of the current school year

     

    Pay Rate: $40–$45 per hour

    About the Role

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at an elementary school in St. Francis, WI. This is a contract position through the end of the school year, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs.

    + Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) in collaboration with staff and families.

    + Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.

    + Maintain accurate records and communicate progress effectively.

    + Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

    Requirements

    + Must hold a valid Wisconsin DPI License or be in the process of obtaining a DPI Cross-Categorical License.

    + Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.

    + Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    + Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
