    LRI 304th St. Landfill, a proud Waste Connections company, is seeking a skilled Landfill Gas Technician to join our passionate team in Graham, WA. As an industry leader in environmental sustainability and waste management, we are looking for a forward-thinking, proactive individual who excels both in collaborative team environments and while working independently.

     

    This full-time, year-round position provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on landfill gas operations while advancing sustainability initiatives and environmental responsibility.

     

    + Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with monthly or occasional Saturdays.

    + The starting pay range will be $23.00 - $25.50/HR.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Operate and Maintain LFG Systems: Manage landfill gascollection systems, including vertical wells, condensate collection,monitoringstations, and pneumatic pumps.

    + Monitor and Optimize: Monitor well fields, perimeter wells,pump stations, and leachate levels regularly to improve collection efficiency.

    + Troubleshoot& Repair: Balanceextractionwells and perform maintenance and minor repairs.

    + System Maintenance: Maintain LFG control plants, flare units, and leachate control systems.

    + Collaboration: Escort andcoordinatewith third-party contractors to ensure smooth operations.

    + Compliance & Reporting: Prepare and submit compliance, operational, and safety reports.

    Requirements:

    + Must be at least 18 years of age.

    + 1 to 2 years of experience inindustrial process control, preferably with landfill gascollection systems.

    + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    + Ability to stand outdoors for up to 10-hour shifts.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

    + Must pass a drug screen and pre-employment background check.

    + Special consideration is given to someone with experience with pneumatic pump troubleshooting and repair.
