Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a POLICE OFFICER T32, PDD2499P01 and is part of the AZ 162nd Wing, National Guard. Responsibilities This position is located at the 162nd Wing in Tucson, Arizona. The primary purpose of this position is: to perform law enforcement work to maintain law and order, preserve the peace, protect life and civil rights, detect, and assists local, state, or federal law enforcement in investigations, arrests and/or detention, or apprehension, and perform patrols within the assigned jurisdictions. These duties must be coordinated with local law enforcement. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: A1C/E-3 to SSgt/E-5 Compatible Military Assignments: 3P051 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level experience that provided knowledge of a body of basic laws and regulations, law enforcement operations, practices, and techniques and involved responsibility for maintaining order and protecting life and property. Creditable specialized experience may have been gained in work on a police force; through service as a military police officer; in work providing visitor protection and law enforcement in parks, forests, or other natural resource or recreational environments; in performing criminal investigative duties; or in other work that provided the required knowledge and skills. Education You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
