    + ​This job is a member of the Safety Management Systems team.

    + ​Responsible for overseeing the change management and safety assurance processes for Customer Experience and stations by identifying issues and developing mitigation strategies to improve and adapt existing processes directly affecting Ground Operations (below the wing), Gate Operations (above the wing) and Cargo Operations.

    What you'll do

    + Tracks key performance indicators and other hazards within the scope of the customer experience SMS through organizing and facilitating monthly Airport Operations Data Analysis Group (AODAG) and Airport Operations Data Analysis Working Group (AODAWG) meetings

    + Collaborates with other policy & procedures departments to ensure new or changing safety policies & procedures are captured by the other departments

    + Initiates continuous improvement activities, including but not limited to, developing training and procedures for airport operations personnel to support the company SMS, safety culture initiatives, just policy development and safety risk management enhancements

    + Manages both internal and external safety audits (IOSA, DOD, IEP) and interfaces with multiple departments regarding ground operations safety and certification

    + Assists with Regulatory Compliance, SMS in Corresponding with Regulatory Affairs regarding Voluntary Self Disclosures (VSD's) and Conducting System Analysis Team (SAT's) meetings for systemic regulatory issues along with other ad hoc safety projects

    + Conducts quality reviews of SMS documentation and provide departmental feedback to support continuous improvement

    + Represents the company at industry conferences

    Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

    + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training

    + Experience in change management

    + Knowledge of FAA and ICAO standards with regard to SMS

    + Ability to facilitate projects and teams

    + Excellent problem solving/logic skills

    + Critical thinker, organized, self-motivated and a natural ability to prioritize requests from many different stakeholders

    + Ability to follow through and complete projects as individual contributor or collaborate as a team member

    + Ability to analyze large volumes of technical information and synthesize data clearly and concisely

    + Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills in combination with the ability to frame solutions strategically and creatively

    + Ability to interface with customer-facing employees, all levels of management, FAA, vendors and labor unions

    + Intermediate level in Microsoft Office Suite software to include MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
