**Schedule:** Mixed Shift (6:00 AM–4:30 PM & 9:30 AM–8:00 PM)
Compensation:
+ Base pay: $58.15 – $73.56/hr (experience-based)
+ Shift differentials: $3.00/hr evenings, $6.00/hr nights
+ Sign-on bonus: $10,000 paid in installments over 24 months
+ Relocation assistance: Case-by-case
Job Summary
The Clinical Pharmacist provides general clinical pharmacy services and supervises technical staff within a fast-paced acute care environment. The role includes interpreting and verifying medication orders, compounding and dispensing medications, monitoring drug therapy, and delivering accurate medication information to healthcare teams and patients.
Responsibilities
+ Interpret, verify, and enter medication orders into the pharmacy system
+ Accurately compound and dispense medications
+ Monitor drug therapy for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and dose appropriateness
+ Support medication stewardship and maintain formulary compliance
+ Provide timely and accurate medication information to staff and patients
+ Assist with clinical services, including:
+ Drug consults
+ Nutrition support
+ Pharmacokinetics
+ Anticoagulation management
+ Pain management
+ IV-to-PO conversions
+ Renal dosing
+ Document clinical activities and interventions
+ Report medication errors and adverse drug reactions
+ Supervise pharmacy operations and support technical staff
Qualifications
+ **At least 1 year of recent acute care hospital pharmacist experience required**
+ B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
+ Active pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate state board
+ Strong ability to function independently in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting
+ Candidates with hospital experience are highly preferred

**Pay Details:** $58.15 to $73.56 per hour
