Job Title: Project Architect

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect with 8–10 years of professional experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who has successfully managed projects from concept through construction and thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

+ Lead projects through all phases: design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.

+ Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high-quality, timely solutions.

+ Prepare and review detailed construction documents ensuring accuracy and compliance with codes and standards.

+ Oversee construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, and site visits.

+ Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture.

Essential Skills

+ Professional degree in Architecture.

+ 8–10 years of architectural experience with a strong portfolio of commercial projects.

+ Proficiency in Revit.

+ Strong understanding of building codes, technical detailing, and construction processes.

+ Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Accreditation is preferred.

+ Experience in multifamily and mixed-use projects is highly preferred.

+ Experience in construction documentation and construction administration is highly preferred.

+ Ability to lead projects and manage client relationships.

+ Knowledge of other design tools is a plus.

Work Environment

We offer a flexible, family-oriented environment where you can lead meaningful projects. The work schedule allows for in-office presence 2-3 days a week, with the remaining days remote. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Detroit, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $55.00/hr.
