We are seeking a drivenand experienced Account Executive to join our esteemed Life Sciences team atLionbridge, focusing on the Medical Device Sector. In this pivotal role, youwill be responsible for independently engaging with prospective clients withinassigned accounts to present Lionbridge's innovative solutions tailored to themedical device sector. Your primary objective will be to maintain a robust andup-to-date pipeline, identifying existing and upsell opportunities to driverevenue growth within this specialized industry.
You will ensure atailored approach to presenting solutions that meet the unique requirements ofour Med Device customers. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholderswill be essential to foster strong relationships and deliver exceptional customerservice. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding ofclient needs, effective communication skills, and a proven track record ofexceeding revenue quotas within the medical device sector.
What You Will Do
+ Develop & ExpandRelationships: Own and grow relationships across a diverse portfolio of lifesciences clients, serving as a trusted advisor for global content, translation,and digital solutions.
+ Prospect WithinAccounts: Identify and engage new stakeholders and buyers to expand walletshare and support multi-year growth goals.
+ Tailor ClientSolutions: Conduct deep discovery and needs assessments to craft proposals thatsolve client-specific challenges in areas such as clinical development,regulatory submissions, labeling, and product launches.
+ Drive Pipeline &Revenue: Maintain a healthy pipeline of new and upsell opportunities; managethe sales process from initial outreach through negotiation and close.
+ Collaborate Internally:Work closely with cross-functional teams—including Solutions, Operations, andProject Management—to ensure flawless delivery and long-term client success.
+ Stay Industry-Smart:Monitor changes in the life sciences landscape, regulations, and industryinnovations to bring fresh ideas and relevant insights to your clients.
+ Represent the Brand:Serve as a Lionbridge ambassador in every interaction—online, in-person, and atindustry events—presenting with clarity, confidence, and credibility.
To Be Successful YouWill Have
+ Sales Experience:Proven track record in B2B sales or account management, ideally within the lifesciences sector (pharma, biotech, medtech, or healthcare).
+ Revenue Ownership:History of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and delivering growth within adefined territory or account list.
+ Pharma Insight: Strongunderstanding of the life sciences content lifecycle, including regulatoryconstraints, multilingual requirements, and digital transformation trends.
+ Relationship Building:Ability to establish trust and credibility with both business and technicalstakeholders at all levels.
+ Sales Strategy: Skilledin qualifying opportunities, presenting solutions, negotiating pricing, andclosing deals.
+ CRM Proficiency:Familiar with Salesforce or other CRM tools to manage pipeline and forecastaccurately.
+ Agility & Drive:Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced,matrixed environment.
+ Collaborative Mindset:Strong internal collaboration skills to drive aligned, client-centered outcomesacross departments.
+ Education: Bachelor’sdegree required; life sciences background or advanced degree is a plus.
