School Nurse (LPN) – Make a Difference in Students’ Lives!

Do you have a passion for caring and a heart for helping students thrive? We’re looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our school team and provide essential health services to students in a supportive educational environment.

As a School Nurse, you’ll assume responsibility for applying the nursing process and delivering compassionate care to students. You’ll work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure every child feels safe, healthy, and ready to learn. This role may also include supervisory responsibilities within contracted services.

What You’ll Do

+ Provide direct nursing care and health support to students.

+ Administer medications and follow physician orders.

+ Respond to health emergencies and manage chronic conditions.

+ Collaborate with school staff to promote wellness and safety.

+ Maintain accurate health records and comply with all regulations.

Minimum Requirements

+ Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN, LVN, or RN).

+ IL LPN License

+ One year of professional experience (preferred).

+ Current CPR certification.

+ PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable).

+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

+ At least 18 years of age.
